Analogue dictation involving tapes is something we have used since I’ve been in the profession. Tapes are all very well but they wear out, they get lost, they are wiped accidentally. We have all had tapes where we have done 1.5 pages, and handed it to our secretary, who is then off for the day. It is passed onto someone else, the tape is wiped, and we have to start all over again. It is very disheartening when this happens. And with digital dictation it doesn’t happen.
I found learning SpeechMagic very easy. I was very impressed when it was demonstrated to us on the first occasion. Yes, it is a very easy system to pick up, and I have been very pleased with it.
